The Teeth Team is a charitable initiative focused on teaching children of primary school age how best to look after their teeth and what they can do to make sure they keep their teeth in tip-top condition.
We currently sponsor two local primary schools, Newington and Paisley, to provide the Teeth Team service for all the children at these schools. We supply a new toothbrush each term to every child and enough toothpaste for communal brushing each day.
Support for the project has been received by Dr Nigel Carter (Chief Executive of the British Dental Health Foundation (BDHF)), John Buttrick (Director of Hull Children’s University) and Alan Johnson MP.
