AyerDental and Hull KR Make a Dream Team

As a dentist in Hull, AyerDental are proud to provide the dental care for local Hull sports clubs including Hull Pirates Ice Hockey, Hull City Tigers, Hull FC and Hull Kingston Rovers. Recently, we've visited Hull KR to make sure they are in good dental health for the new season.

Chris Ayer and some of our staff went along to give the KR squad a dental screening and provide the players with mouthguards, getting each player ready for the 2016 campaign. We're sure it was this that got the Robins off to a good start with a 16-16 draw against Castleford Tigers at the KC Lightstream Stadium on Sunday.

Treating both private and NHS patients, it has been an established dental practice since the 1960s. Our experienced team have seen it all, and we make sure we're up to date with all preventative, restorative and cosmetic dental treatments.

Hull KR head coach Chris Chester said: “Chris and his team do a great job in looking after the players and we are very grateful for their support.

“Our coaching and player welfare departments obviously place a great deal of emphasis on making sure the players are in the best
possible physical condition to play such a demanding sport, but the overall health of the players is important too.

“Chris has previously volunteered his services, but every player took up his offer this season and I’m sure they can appreciate the need for a properly fitting mouthguard in particular.

“On behalf of the players, I’d like to thank Chris and the staff at AyerDental for their continued support and we look forward to working with them again in the future.”

As well as being proud of our links with the city's biggest sports teams, AyerDental has a special interest in promoting good teeth health to primary school children, taking part in the Teeth Team charity project, which helps to educate children about good dental hygiene.

Chris Ayer, principal dentist at the practice, said: “Our engagement within the local community is very important to us and we are proud to be the ones chosen to work with the likes of Hull KR in what is such a huge sporting city.
“We already know that a person’s oral health plays a significant role in their overall well-being and it is a pleasure to offer our services to the Rovers squad at the start of their 10th year in Super League.”

New patients are always welcome at AyerDental, please contact us for more information.
